Film noir and the great mystery/thriller movies was the inspiration behind the Grade 12 Media 
Arts Digital Showcase, Chiaroscuro on Tuesday, February 4, 2015. The school’s cafetorium was transformed into a movie theater complete with a ticket booth, movie posters created by the students and stations to admire the digital artwork displayed on screens.
More than 150 people viewed the film festival that featured 11 short films created by 22 Grade 12 students and an opening act by Grade 10 Comm Tech students. The films were part of a semester long project that took students through all aspects of film making.
